In waiting, building, beeswax rings register years under occupation, a documentation of the years, and a reflection of the resilience of our roots. This sculptural tapestry, inspired by traditional weaving and our strength through all, symbolizes a protective shield, growing stronger annually. Each beeswax loop signifies a year of perseverance, intertwined with hope and resistance—an ongoing performance adding a new ring on Nakba Day each year.
